Sammy Guevara Makes Surprise Return During 12/27 AEW Dynamite

AEW is getting over the holidays, and that called for celebration. Dynamite went down on schedule this week, and that included an unexpected return.

Ringside News provided complete coverage of AEW Dynamite this week. It was quite a show, and it included a surprise or two along the way.

The Don Callis Family took to the ring during AEW Dynamite this week, and they were drawing heat from the start. Don Callis was getting under fans’ skin, but then they heard a surprise.

Sammy Guevara’s music hit, and the Spanish God made his return to AEW television. He has been out of action for while with a concussion, but then he took an additional bit of time after Tay Melo gave birth to their son.

Sammy Guevara said “long time, so see” to Don Callis. Then Callis unveiled a painting for Guevara where the Don Callis family was around him, while Sammy was holding his child.

Guevara was not happy about his baby being on the poster, and he got in Don Callis’ face about it. “You f*cked up” chants broke out from the crowd as Callis said that Guevara isn’t “mentally ready to be a parent.”

Things escalated, and then Will Hobbs jumped Sammy Guevara from behind. Then, Chris Jericho ran down to save him with his bat, Floyd, in hand.
