AEW has rich history in Jacksonville, Florida. Tony Khan owns the Jacksonville Jaguars. They announced the company’s birth in the city as well, but attendance numbers are still down in the company’s homestead.

AEW has a lot of plans for the new year, and that includes a stop by Daily’s Place once again. That venue was the company’s home during the pandemic, and it hosted several notable moments in the company’s history. Now, they aren’t even planning to fill half of the amphitheater.

WrestleTix noted that AEW’s return to Daily’s Place isn’t doing amazing numbers. Their January 10th show has 587 tickets available, but it is the capacity they have set up for that is concerning.

The amphitheater at Daily’s Place is a state-of-the-art, 5,500-seat facility, designed to give everyone with a ticket a good line of sight to the stage. Fight For the Fallen in July 2019 had an attendance of 5,000.

We will have to see if AEW is able to pull up their attendance numbers. This was quite a slump from where they were in 2019, considering AEW’s history with Daily’s Place.
