WWE has a lot of plans in the pipeline, and April 6 and 7 will be massive days for the company. WrestleMania 40 is coming to Philadelphia, and fans will flock to the City of Brotherly Love for the big show. They may also crush a record in the process.

The upcoming SmackDown and Raw episodes scheduled for WrestleMania weekend in Philadelphia have the potential to become the most financially successful installments of each show, particularly in North America. Naturally, this will only add to WWE’s upswing in high-dollar events.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that SmackDown and RAW for WrestleMania weekend could break those records. They have also raised ticket prices, where the lowest ticket is now $81 to get in the door.

The Smackdown and Raw shows in Philadelphia for WrestleMania weekend could end up as the highest grossing episodes of each show, at least in North America because the shows will sell out or come lose and they’ve jacked up the ticket prices. The lowest price for the upper deck is $81 for each show and that would be the highest for each. Lots of upper deck seats are going for more than $100

WWE usually makes history with their WrestleMania events, and you never know how the company will do it next year. With Triple H in control of the company’s creative direction, it’s anyone’s guess how huge he will make those shows around the showcase of the immortals next year.
