WWE has seen a few people fall from grace, but few hit the ground harder than Tammy Lynn Sytch. Now, she is off to prison, which will be her home for the next 17 years.

PW Insider reports that WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch has been moved from Volusia County Corrections to a prison facility in Ocala, Florida on December 20th, 2023. This is the final chapter of a long story, one that was hard to watch unfold for many reasons.

On November 28th, Tammy Lynn Sytch was sentenced to 17 years and an additional 8 years of probation. During the sentencing, her attorneys mentioned the intent to file an appeal for a reduced sentence, but as of today, no court records show that an appeal has been filed.

In the civil lawsuit realm, Tammy Lynn Sytch continues to face a lawsuit from the estate of Julian Lasseter, who died in the traffic incident leading to Sytch’s arrest in March 2022. The charges include one count of DUI causing death (DUI Manslaughter), one count of causing death while operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, four counts of DUI causing injury to a person, and three counts of DUI causing damage to property.

In August, Sytch entered a plea of nolo contendere in Florida regarding the charges. Initially pleading not guilty, she changed her plea to nolo contendere, accepting conviction without admitting fault or guilt. As part of this plea, her time behind bars was considered as the sentence for the remaining charges (misdemeanors), listed as served concurrently with the top charges against her.

We will keep our eye on this story to see if there are any updates about Tammy Lynn Sytch. Her life is certainly a cautionary tale at this point, and we invite you to leave your comments in the space below.
