AEW is already missing a few stars due to injury or illness. Now, CJ Perry is out of action, and that injury spread to an infection that will now require surgery.

On Saturday, CJ Perry shared that finger infection had extended to her arm, leading her to seek medical attention at the ER. This situation resulted in her absence from CMLL on Friday and AEW Collision.

Providing a subsequent update on Monday, she disclosed that she has spent over 50 hours in the ER and hospital. Unfortunately, the infection has worsened, and she is now scheduled for surgery.

I have been in the ER and hospital for over 50 hours. The infection has gotten worse, and I’m going into surgery tonight. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I love you all

CJ Perry seemed to be in a positive mood, but it must be difficult considering the horrible situation. Hopefully, Miro is around to provide support for her during this time. She certainly has a ton of fans supporting her.

CJ Perry will be missed on AEW television, but she needs to get over this issue. Obviously, a hurt finger is not supposed to spread to this magnitude, and it is also very concerning.

We’re sending our best to CJ Perry during this time. Hopefully, her doctors can do what they can do to fix her finger, and all of those other nasty issues.
