WWE is looking at doing big business in 2024, and their upcoming television deals will bring in a ton of revenue. It appears that CM Punk returned just in time for the red brand’s television contract.

WWE has already locked down new television deals for NXT and SmackDown. NXT will begin on The CW and SmackDown will move to The USA network. Both deals will start in October 2024. RAW doesn’t have a deal just yet, but the CM Punk could bring a lot more value to that show.

Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer added fuel to the rumor mill with a post on social media today, sparking speculation about the implications of Punk’s return and the potential financial impact it could have for WWE. After all, Punk brings a lot of eyes to anything he’s a part of.

“Things are changing greatly. Let’s just say things changed greatly with Raw negotiations from a few weeks ago. And Punk is a huge part of the selling point.”
