WWE thinned down their roster after the merger with the UFC. One of the talents that was unfortunately let go was McKenzie Mitchel, who even called for social media support so there could be enough rhetoric for the company to consider her return.

During a recent media interaction, Mitchell remained coy about her plans as a pro wrestler following her WWE firing.

While speaking during a virtual signing event for RDP Promotions. Upon being asked about her future plans regarding pro wrestling, she had little to say. She said, “I can’t reveal all my secrets, right?” This insinuated that she might have some plans already but may be waiting for the right time to reveal them.

However, she spoke about her jewellery business, Headline, and added that she is excited to see just where it is headed. Her statement does seem to imply that she has something up her sleeve.

“I can’t reveal all my secrets, right? (Mitchell responded when asked what’s next for her) I can’t tell you guys everything. I will say I have been talking about my jewelry business, Headline. I’m really excited to see where that goes and then next year, it’s only been six months of the business and it’s been really, really great.

As far as wrestling goes, I don’t know exactly yet. Maybe I do. But I can’t tell you guys exactly what I’m thinking. It’s just a matter of time. I’m gonna give myself the holidays, I’m gonna do a couple of interviews. There is one that I’m doing exclusively on the 20th. But I don’t know yet. You’ll have to wait and see.”

Even Shawn Michaels was surprised by the firing of McKenzie Mitchell. The Heartbreak Kid stated he lacked insights into the decision and was genuinely surprised and blindsided by it.

“No, I don’t. McKenzie is always going to be a part of the NXT family. It obviously took me by surprise as well, my understanding is that there are some areas where we have overlapping jobs and there were going to be changes.”

It remains to be seen what’s the next career move up in Mitchell’s ante. Where do you think Mitchell is headed next? Let us know in the comments below.
