Dominik Mysterio Questions The Judgment Day’s Loyalty After Title Loss at Deadline

Dominik Mysterio is undoubtedly one of the most hated heels in WWE right now, who continues to get booed out of the building every week. That said, he lost the NXT North American Championship at Deadline and he made it clear he was not happy with the result.

The NXT Deadline Premium Live Event was truly a night of memorable moments and solid matches. It saw Dominik Mysterio defend his NXT North American Championship against Dragon Lee in a solid bout.

Mysterio had a strong showing in the beginning but Dragon Lee turned the tide and ultimately hit the Asai DDT on Mysterio for the win, thus becoming the new champion. While speaking in a backstage interview after the match, Mysterio made it clear that he was upset over the result and questioned why the Judgment Day members weren’t there to help him.

“You all saw what happened to me out there. I am the greatest NXT North American Champion that’s ever been. Dragon Lee, my deadbeat dad? Where’s Judgment Day? Where’s Finn, where’s Damian, JD, Mami? You know what, I’m gonna go home to Mami because Judgment day runs all and this shouldn’t be happening.”

We will have to wait and see whether Dominik Mysterio will invoke his rematch clause and square off against Dragon Lee in the future. Regardless, fans are glad Lee finally won some gold on NXT and that’s all that matters to them.
