Kevin Owens was traded to the blue brand after Jey Uso made his way to Monday Night RAW. In the weeks since then, Owens has been feuding with Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. After the latest turn of events, Owens has now vowed to fight Austin Theory with a broken hand.

After the announcement that Owens would be competing in the tournament to determine Logan Paul’s next US Title challenger, WWE announced that Owens had suffered hand fractures after his bout with Grayson Waller last week on Smackdown, following Waller and Austin Theory’s brutal assault.

It was announced on this week’s SmackDown episode that Kevin Owens will be facing off against Austin Theory next week on SmackDown as part of the tournament. In a WWE digital exclusive video, Nick Aldis told Owens that he can’t let him compete with a broken hand. Owens made it clear he would still fight next week despite his broken hand.

It is to be noted that the hand injury is very likely part of a storyline as it will build up Kevin Owens’ possible feud with Logan Paul as we head toward the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event next year. We’ll have to see how he will perform against Austin Theory next week.
