CM Punk’s return at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event became a significant event in pro wrestling history for many reasons. After all, no one expected him to return to WWE considering how he left the company in 2014. He is back in business and now Shawn Michaels joked that Punk could appear on NXT one day.

A lot of things took place during last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, as new storylines were being built up. CM Punk also closed out the show with his first WWE promo in almost 10 years, where he spoke his mind about numerous things.

While speaking during the ongoing media call for the NXT Deadline Premium Live Event, Shawn Michaels talked about CM Punk’s return to WWE and how Triple H was responsible for it. Shawn Michaels injected a touch of humor by playfully suggesting that Punk could return the favor by making a cameo appearance in NXT.

While emphasizing business considerations, Michaels expressed happiness about the deal, wanting the company to thrive. He mentioned the importance of leaving the business on one’s terms for a sense of peace, expressing contentment with Punk’s decision and extending well wishes to both him and the company. Regardless, it remains to be seen whether Punk will actually make a cameo on NXT someday.
