AEW Dynamite experienced a minor dip in viewership, and the numbers are in! The December 6, 2023 episode pulled in 823,000 viewers, just a notch down from the 858,000 fans who tuned in the previous week.

In the high-stakes 18-49 demographic, the show clocked in with a rating of 0.25, slipping from the 0.29 rating it boasted just seven days ago. Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics, brought us these stats. Let’s not forget that last week’s episode marked AEW Dynamite’s grand return to the ratings throne, its highest point since October 18.

But hold onto your ringside seats, because this week’s battle wasn’t just in the squared circle. AEW Dynamite went head-to-head with some formidable opponents, including the Republican Presidential Primary Debate, airing on the CW Network. Yet, AEW Dynamite pulled out all the stops, offering up a stacked card of epic showdowns that had fans on the edge of their seats.

From the epic clash between TNT Champion Christian Cage and Adam Copeland to the fierce face-off between AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm and the rising star Skye Blue, it was a night of great wrestling action. Swerve Strickland and Mark Briscoe brought their A-game to the ring, while Jon Moxley and Rush locked horns in a battle of titans. And let’s not forget the electrifying matchup between Jay White and Jay Lethal.
