Randy Orton made his shocking return at Survivor Series last week and then on the subsequent episode of Monday Night RAW. It didn’t stop there as he returned to Smackdown and is now officially back in the fold for good. Now that he is back, Orton is eyeing making history in WWE.

In case you didn’t know, Randy Orton is already a 14-time World Champion, tying with Triple H for the second-highest number of reigns with the top title in company history. He is just behind John Cen and Ric Flair, both of whom are 16-time World Champions.

While speaking on Impaulsive, the future WWE Hall of Famer was asked if he would want to break the record. The Viper made it clear that he would more than love to be a 17-time World Champion.

Of course, I want to do everything I can, man. You know, longevity is always the number one goal for me and being able to go home play with my kids and not be in pain, right? That’d be the ultimate goal. But you know, as many accomplishments as I can accomplish in WWE, the more the better. I’ve already done so much so far. It’s kind of nice being in a position where I can watch other guys’ matches and maybe critique and help and answer questions.

Randy Orton also disclosed how Matt Riddle helped him out in matches while he was in incredible pain. Regardless, The Apex Predator is currently set to feud with The Bloodline, so that will be his primary focus for the time being.
