Kevin Owens has been getting quite a spotlight in recent memory, and his punching power has also received a bit of that attention. After the December 1st episode of WWE SmackDown, things took a turn for KO, but there is a reason for that.

Speculation came after Kevin Owens’ match against Grayson Waller that Owens may have suffered a broken hand. During the contest, Waller had specifically targeted KO’s hand.

WWE unveiled that Kevin Owens suffered an injury during the 12/1 episode of WWE SmackDown. It was said that the Prizefighter fractured his 4th and 5th metacarpal.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Kevin Owens has this injury in storyline, so “he can’t throw the punch.” After all, KO’s punch has received quite a push in recent memory.

It wasn’t all too long ago when Kevin Owens knocked out Grayson Waller and Austin Theory at the same time with one punch. Only time will tell when KO will do it again, but he will have some trouble pulling that off with broken fingers.

It was not said that Kevin Owens is out of the WWE United States Title tournament. So, he doesn’t seem to be missing any time. He will just have to go a bit easier, but that will also be hard for him.
