Baron Corbin has been part of WWE for ten years now, and he made the most out of any role that was given to him. Prior to his WWE tenure, Corbin has competed in other sports and even dabbled in MMA from time to time. Now Corbin ended up winning a gold medal at an MMA tournament recently.

Baron Corbin is a former Golden Gloves Boxer and had a football career before joining WWE. After his football career ended, he had to decide what to do next and decided pro wrestling was his calling.

As previously reported, Baron Corbin stated that he was preparing for an MMA competition which was to be held on December 2nd. It turns out the tournament was called the Jiu Jitsu World League, where the WWE Superstar won the gold medal in the tournament – certainly a huge achievement for The Lone Wolf.

The WWE Superstar previously revealed that he initially aimed to join the UFC before making his way to WWE. This is certainly a major thing for Baron Corbin, as Corbin showed the world just how proficient he can be in the world of MMA already.
