QT Marshall recently announced that he resigned from AEW. He will finish out the year, but then he will be a free agent. He may not be jobless for very long at all.

QT Marshall was frustrated in AEW, and quitting the company followed months of not being happy with what he was doing. He wanted to be a pro wrestler, but they relegated him to backstage roles and angles.

It was said that QT Marshall lost influence in AEW after Cody Rhodes left. The American Nightmare later went on to give QT Marshall some big-time flowers online after he announced his resignation from AEW.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that there is definite interest in QT Marshall’s services after he departs from AEW. He will be a free agent on January 1st, and that phone may be ringing already.

Fightful spoke with MLW sources that immediately indicated interest in Marshall, saying that they were surprised he was hitting the open market. We’re told that Major League Wrestling is planning to communicate with Marshall, and wants him to work both in and out of the ring.

It was reported that MLW is currently undergoing a front office overhaul, with several positions being restructured, some of which were previously held by Marshall during his time at AEW. Marshall is regarded by MLW as a versatile talent, both inside and outside the ring.

It was also noted that, “QT Marshall also has several pushing for him within WWE for a variety of roles, which is to be expected.

Harley Cameron was included in the QTV faction on AEW, along with so many others, but only time will tell what will happen with that faction. Since QT Marshall is leaving AEW in 2024, that running series of backstage segments is likely to disappear as well.

We will keep our eye on this story, and so many more, here at Ringside News. You never know what will break next, but we will be here with all the headlines.
