AEW fans were a bit shocked when QT Marshall revealed that he is quitting the company. He will finish up 2023, but 2024 will see him as a free agent. Many have commented, and now Cody Rhodes is weighing in.

QT Marshall announced his resignation from AEW through social media post. He also included a lengthy text graphic to explain his reasoning. We previously reported that he had frustrations, but now we have a better idea when that downfall within AEW started for the QTV leader.

It was previously reported that QT Marshall started to lose influence backstage in AEW once Cody Rhodes left. Marshall also played a significant role in helping shape AEW shows as AEW President Tony Khan’s right-hand man, and he ran the Nightmare factory.

Cody Rhodes posted on X to give kudos to QT Marshall. He has nothing but great things to say about his old friend, and it seems that he is totally in support of QT’s decision.
