AEW Star’s Return Hopes Dashed as Additional Surgery Is Needed

AEW has a few stars who are out of action, and it seems that we have return from injury every few weeks at this point. Bandido was ready to make that big return, but then he received some very bad news.

Bandido suffered broken wrist during an AEW Rampage mach in June. He’s been out of action since then, and now he must wait longer. In fact, he needs another operation now, because his recovery did not go according to plan.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that there is bad news for Bandido. He will require another surgery, because his wrist is not in good shape. It was also noted that this is not a good thing at all for the luchador.

“By the way, bad news for Bandido by the way. Another surgery on the wrist. It didn’t heal properly. It’s not good at all. It’s too bad. He was literally ready to come back, but the bone didn’t heal well. It’s too bad, because the guy has so much charisma.”

We will have to see when Bandido makes his return to AEW television. Sadly, he will have to wait even longer for that moment to come around, because his broken wrist did not heal the way that it needed to. Now, he must go under the knife once again.

Bandido could be a big star for AEW, but he needs to be healthy. Hopefully, this next surgery is able to do the trick for him.
