MJF gave his all at AEW Full Gear, and now he is on the shelf. Although he is still AEW World Champion, MJF is not able to complete, leaving Tony Khan to deal with another huge loss for his roster.

The Salt of the Earth and Jay White had the worst-rated main event in AEW pay-per-view history. He was also injured in the process. It appears that MJF was very banged up in that match.

MJF was injured at Full Gear, as it was noted that he had a hip injury, but he carried on and wrestled the match anyway. Now, it appears that another injury hit the AEW World Champion.

MJF posted, and soon deleted, a very concerning message. He told fans that he was injured, but Worlds End is still happening.

Dave Meltzer posted on X to confirm that MJF has a torn labrum. Right now, he will wrestle against Samoa Joe at AEW World End on December 30th, but he won’t be wrestling in the meantime.

MJF is getting some big headlines in recent memory. Not only did it break that there are no talks between him and WWE, but now he is also injured. We’re hoping that he can heal up soon.
