Jerry Lawler Makes Rare WWE Appearance To Announce Iron Survivor Qualifying Matches For 11/28 NXT

Jerry Lawler is still hanging in there, and he was called by Shawn Michaels to help out with NXT this week. Now, The King has appeared to announce some big matches for the November 28th episode of NXT.

Jerry Lawler’s health was hit big time when he suffered stroke. He has recovered in a major way, but the lasting effects of the stroke have changed some things for Lawler, including his voice. He is also in need of knee replacement surgery.

Bron Breakker and Eddy Thorpe will throw down in an Iron Survivor Challenge qualifying match. That should be a quite a match, and Lawler said that Breakker is his pick to win the whole match at Deadline, if he can topple Eddy Thorpe.

Also, the women’s Iron Survivor Qualifying match will see Kelani Jordan and Kiana James have a match. We will have to see who wins that match.

It’s great to see Jerry Lawler, however he can make an appearance. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler recently sat down for dinner to catch up. The legendary broadcast team may also have a new venture in the future. It’s good to see The King any time, no matter where he may be on any given day.
