WWE Survivor Series is coming up on November 25th, and the show saw a bit of a change beforehand. Now, Carlito is off the show, but one up-and-coming Superstar is in.

Ringside News provided complete coverage of WWE SmackDown this week. They did a lot to build toward Survivor Series, where WarGames will bring a lot of action to Chicago.

This week on SmackDown, Carlito came down to the ring, and he cut a promo for the Chicago fans. Then Santos Escobar came down and things got heated. Santos blamed Carlito for Rey Mysterio’s injury, and Escobar claimed that he was Rey’s family, and not Carlito.

It appeared that Santos Escobar was led off after WWE officials were able to split them up. Then he was able to run around everyone and pull off a sneak-attack knee off the top of the barricade to the back of Carlito’s arm.

Carlito was laid out after that brutal sneak-attack move. It left Carlito laid out at ringside with a flew of ringside officials around him. Later on, backstage, Santos laid Carlito out again, but Dragon Lee ran in and saved him.

Later on, Nick Aldis stated that Carlito is not cleared to compete at Survivor Series after that attack. He was going to postpone the match, but then Dragon Lee stepped in and took the match.

It was previously reported that WWE was expected to make a change to Survivor Series. It was said that Santos Escobar would beat Carlito down and he would be replaced by Dragon Lee on the show.

Now, Dragon Lee is set for a big Survivor Series match. We will have to see what happens. You can check out the updated Survivor Series card below.
