AEW is going through some creative changes right now. That includes the Young Bucks, as they are now branding in to heel territory. They quit Being the Elite, but there is a lot more in store for them.

The Young Bucks raised a lot of eyebrows when they filed a trademark for KTB Wrestling. Some didn’t know what it meant, but longtime fans of Nick and Matt Jackson know their history of “Killing The Business” all too well.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that The Young Bucks trademarked Killing The Business for merchandise. They also have plans to start a new heel stale in Tony Khan’s company.

The Young Bucks are obviously being repackaged as heels and will be playing into their negativity like they did years ago with Killing the Business and Spot Monkey merchandise. They’ve trademarked KTB Wrestling (Killing the Business Wrestling) for merch and Superdick Party although KTB is not part of the AEW stable idea and right now is for outside AEW projects. They look to be doing a heel group with Brandon Cutler.”

Colt Cabana’s name has been mentioned but that doesn’t appear to be a certainty. The idea is for them to take some time off and come back as heels with major impact. It’s in the beginning stages and there’s no known time frame on when they will pull the trigger on it and they will return. BTE is also apparently going on hiatus during this period.

The Young Bucks missed this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. This was after they turned heel at Full Gear. The Jackson Brothers lost a match to Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega, and they were not happy about that at all.

We will have to see what is in store for the Young Bucks in AEW. They are going with a brand-new wave of momentum now, as they get to try their hands at being heels once again.

What’s your take on the Young Bucks turning heel? Are they better off as a babyface team? Let us know what you think about this in the comments section!

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
