Ronda Rousey made her surprise ROH debut, and that got lot of people talking. There is no deal in place between Rousey and Tony Khan, but that didn’t stop her from having a lot of fun in the process.

Ronda Rousey unexpectedly made her ROH debut, teaming up with Marina Shafir. The two Four Horsewomen members participated in a tag-team match against ROH Women’s Champion Athena and Billie Starkz, which was the same match Rousey had at the Wrestling REVOLVER: UNREAL event the previous Thursday.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter dropped a note about the expectation that Ronda Rousey will arrive in AEW. At this time, there are no plans, so fans shouldn’t hold their breath. It was also noted that Tony Khan had to approve Ronda Rousey’s Revolver match, as it led to a DQ finish.

Khan worked it out to where he allowed the match on the Revolver card but only with a DQ finish and in return the agreement was they would do a rematch on the ROH taping in Los Angeles the next night and do the finish with Rousey winning there.

We will have to see if Ronda Rousey arrived in AEW in 2024. Right now, there are no plans for that to happen, but crazier things have gone down in pro wrestling before.

Ronda Rousey has the financial security to do as she pleases. Working those matches with Marina Shafir was something that she obviously wanted to do. Candid video of Rousey and Shafir after that ROH match indicates that they are closer than ever right now.
