The Undertaker will forever be regarded as legend in the world of professional wrestling. His contributions to the business will never be forgotten as he has given 30 years of his life and sacrificed his body. That said, he never got to have a dream match with Sting and now he believes he would have killed Sting in their dream match.

For over twenty years, pro wrestling fans have always wanted The Undertaker and Sting to square off against each other inside the ring. When Sting made his debut in WWE back in 2014, fans were hopeful that they would finally get to see the dream match happen. However, that never happened and it will forever remain one of wrestling’s biggest ‘what if’ moments.

While speaking to Bill Apter, The Undertaker was asked what would have happened if he and Sting faced off against each other. With a smile, The Deadman stated that he would have killed Sting.

I’d have killed him. He’d have got a Tombstone brother, he’s going out after I’d planted him.

Sting also explained why a match with The Undertaker never happened in WWE. Sting had also pitched an idea for the cinematic match against the Undertaker, but WWE rejected it. While The Undertaker is enjoying his life in retirement, Sting is set to retire at AEW Revolution next year, so we’ll have to see how his final match will turn out.
