Asuka has collected many championships since joining WWE. Now, she has a chance to show them off, and it took a bit to get through all of them.
The Empress of Tomorrow is currently going strong, and looking for WarGames in her future at Survivor Series. Asuka joined Damage CTRL, officially beefing up the dominate female faction.
Asuka recently dropped a YouTube video where she took the chance to walk fans through each title belt she has from WWE. This was just her WWE title belts, because she picked up a plethora of championships elsewhere before making her way to NXT.
Asuka’s title runs in WWE include the NXT Women’s Championship, three runs as WWE Women’s Champion, WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship, and three runs with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Kairi Sane, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss as her partners. She also won the Women’s Money in the Bank in 2020 and the Women’s Royal Rumble in 2018.
Asuka has achieved recognition as the Third Women’s Triple Crown Champion and the Second Women’s Grand Slam Champion. She won the Mixed Match Challenge with The Miz and received multiple NXT Year-End Awards, including Female Competitor of the Year in 2016 and 2017, as well as Overall Competitor of the Year in 2017. In addition, Asuka and Kairi Sane were named Women’s Tag Team of the Year in 2019 in WWE’s Year-End Awards.
Asuka may not have title belts for the Mixed Match Challenge, but she certainly kept that Money in the Bank briefcase. That is the same briefcase that contained the title belt, since Becky Lynch had to relinquish her title due to pregnancy.
