WWE started up their NIL deal as they signed up possible crossover talent from all over college sports. The Cavinder Twins inking deals with the company brought a ton of attention, because they have millions of followers on social media for a variety of reasons.

WWE NIL signee Haley Cavinder has shared her college basketball plans for her upcoming final season. She previously mentioned her intention to return to basketball for her fifth year of eligibility. Haley recently used Instagram to announce her commitment to TCU, where she will be participating in the next season.

In an interview recorded before Haley’s basketball decision was made public, she and her twin sister, Hannah, spoke with Business of College Sports. The article highlights that Hannah will not be joining Haley on the team. A few excerpts from their conversation are provided below.

“I think going into deciding whether we were going to take our fifth year or not, we kind of were leaning on each other. We’ve always done everything together, so it kind of just made sense. I was just kind of ready to tie the shoes up, and I had different ambitions outside of basketball, but that was kind of my decision to step away.”

“I think ending it with Hanna and announcing that we were done and not going to take our fifth year, I felt—honestly, to be very transparent—a lot of pressure. There was nothing filling the love for the game, and I just truly was like, I know I’m going to regret it down the road if I don’t go back.”

We will have to see if Haley Cavinder ever makes her way to WWE. It appears that she’s not finished wish her college basketball career. Either way, her outstanding social media following will be watching whatever she decides to do next.

WWE is always after the next big breakout social media influencer, and if they can ink Haley Cavinder to some sort of deal, then her, and her twin sister Haley may find a lot of success in the company.
