LA Knight made a significant impression after his debut at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. Knight lost to Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel, but now WWE has confirmed another match for him.
LA Knight was unable to defeat Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel last week. This led to Grayson Waller calling out Knight, saying that he was going to need the Grayson Waller rub after Crown Jewel.
LA Knight would respond to Grayson Waller, stating that he spoke to Nick Aldis and the two will have a match on Smackdown. Nick Aldis took to Twitter and officially confirmed Knight vs Waller for the 10th November edition of Friday Night Smackdown.

WWE also believes LA Knight has capped his popularity in the company and needs to develop a deeper connection with fans. It remains to be seen whether Knight will be able to defeat Grayson Waller on Smackdown this week.
