Kevin Owens stepped in as a replacement for Corey Graves on commentary during the November 10 episode of WWE SmackDown. This substitution was necessary as Graves was absent due to his wife Carmella giving birth to their son earlier in the week. That being said, one thing led to another and now Kevin Owens is suspended.

Ringside News provided comprehensive coverage of WWE SmackDown this week. It was quite a show, as the blue brand brought two packed hours.

While Kevin Owens took on his commentary duties, there was a stipulation in place that he should not engage physically with any of the competitors as part of the commentary team. Owens adhered to this rule until he found himself provoked by Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.

Grayson Waller and Austin Theory taunted Kevin Owens by dousing him with water, ridiculing him, and even hurling a bottle at Kevin Patrick. Fed up with their antics, Owens retaliated by attacking Waller and Theory.

As a result of his actions, WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis had no other choice but to suspend Kevin Owens, also ensuring that his tie was returned.

Kevin Owens doesn’t seem too awfully upset about this suspension. It wasn’t noted how long he will be gone, but it appears that Nick Aldis means business with the rules he lays down. You may check out the clip below, and keep coming back to Ringside News for more!
