MJF considers himself a generational talent, and he clearly has many ways to back up his claims as his stock continues to rise every week. He is the AEW World Champion and now MJF has penned an introspective message about himself on social media.

The Salt of The Earth used to be the biggest heel in all of AEW but through his friendship with Adam Cole over the past several months, MJF has become a babyface and more in tune with his feelings.

The AEW World Champion took to Twitter and reflected on how he used to view himself in AEW, admitting that he felt no one cared if he was alive or dead in the ring. However, things are different now for him.

”In this sport respect isn’t given. It’s earned.

Every time I step into the ring I used to only do it for myself cuz I figured nobody gave a shit if I was alive or dead. Now when I walk through that curtain I walk out with everyone who believes in me.

I’m not a finished product. But I’m trying.

MJF is set to defend his AEW World Championship against Jay White at the Full Gear pay-per-view this month. It remains to be seen how the match will turn out, as fans want MJF to successfully retain the title.
