Karrion Kross was one of the many Superstars that Triple H brought back to WWE that Vince McMahon fired over the pandemic. Now, fans are waiting for his next move, but it seems that one angle was nixed.

Ringside News exclusively reported at the beginning of October that Karrion Kross was slated for a push in WWE. That didn’t happen, but it was supposed to go down.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Karrion Kross was scheduled for a segment with Shotzi and Scarlett, but it was nixed for a very good reason.

Fightful Select reported last week that Karrion Kross was slated to appear on the November 3 episode of WWE Smackdown, which was actually filmed October 27. We’ve now learned why that didn’t happen.

Kross had been scheduled for a backstage segment that also was set to feature Scarlett and Shotzi. However, sources within WWE said that the segment would not have made sense for almost anyone involved, and was nixed very early in the day October 27. The segment ended up not being filmed at all.

It was further noted that, “This wasn’t relayed to some, as the segment still made it onto run sheets and was on the slate for the show as of 7 PM ET before the double taping. However, it didn’t cause any major issues for timing as it was a taped show and things were adjusted easily.”

We will have to see how WWE uses Karrion Kross in the weeks to come. This appearance didn’t work out, but there have to be other ways that Triple H can use one of his favorite former NXT Champions.
