Sami Callihan Uses ‘How I Met Your Mother’ Star Jason Segel To Nail Penta With Superkick At Indie Show

Pro wrestling is seeing booming period right now, and there are fans all over the place. You never know who will show up in the crowd at a pro wrestling event, just so they can see the action up close and personal. When Jason Segel decided to take in a recent show, the How I Met Your Mother star probably had no idea he would be a part of the action.

Jason Segel is looking good, and he was happy to be at the Republic of Lucha show on October 30th. That event was quite a show, and Sami Callihan brought attention to Segel during the event as well. Then things took quite a turn during Callihan’s match against Penta.

Penta and Sami Callihan are known to beat their opponents in brutal fashion, and their brawl spilled out into the crowd at one point. That is when Calliahn threw Penta on Jason Segel and delivered a superkick to his opponent. Segel may have caught some of the kick as well.

“Didn’t expect to spend my Monday night watching Jason Segel and Penta getting superkicked at @republicoflucha but here we are.”

Jason Segel had a great time at the Republic of Lucha show, all things considered. He also grabbed a photo-op with AEW referee Aubrey Edwards, who was working the show as an official.

We’ll have to see if Jason Segel pops up at any pro wrestling events in the future. We can only hope that this outing inspires him to base his next creative venture on pro wrestling, because he is a brilliant writer on top of his acting and musical skills. Forgetting Sarah Marshall jokes have been popping up all over social media as this clip picks up traction.
