Bryan Danielson has been through a lot during his career in the ring. He’s taken bumps and bruises, and missed years when he thought he would never wrestle again. Now, he is out of action once again with an unexpected injury, and it is not part of Tony Khan’s creative direction.

Ringside News has complete coverage of AEW Collision, and it was quite show this week as well. The House of Black was in action, and a familiar face returned to join them. Sadly, Bryan Danielson’s injury was also revealed.

During AEW Collision this week, it was revealed that Bryan Danielson broke his orbital bone during the 10/25 episode of AEW Dynamite. PW Insider reported to squash the idea that this is a storyline. This is a very real situation, and Danielson is injured.

For those who have asked about whether the announced Bryan Danielson broken orbital bone was legitimate or not, we have confirmed with AEW sources that the injury is not storyline.

Bryan Danielson has obviously come back from worse injuries than this before. He is a fighter, and will come back, likely with even more focus, to stay in the mix with AEW. That being said, he will be out of action for a bit as he deals with another setback.

We’re hoping for the best as Bryan Danielson heals from his orbital bone injury. Only time will tell how long it takes for him to make his return, but Tony Khan certainly needs him back as soon as possible.

Bryan Danielson healed very quickly from a fractured arm to fill in for CM Punk at All Out against Ricky Starks. Odds are, he would do the same if he needed to return in a hurry from this injury.
