AEW brought surprising Dynamite for fans this week, complete with Ric Flair’s debut for the company. Once we break down why the Nature Boy showed up in AEW, we can look forward to another episode of Rampage, which was taped right after Dynamite. This goes without saying, but this is your official spoiler warning.

AEW appeared at Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for this week’s episode of Dynamite, which also featured the taping of October 27’s episode of Rampage, and fans who stuck around were in for quite a show.

During Rampage this week, Konosuke Takeshita defeated Kyle Fletcher in a match. Fletcher attacked Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs after the match. Don Callis intervened, and it seems like Fletcher may join the Callis Family.

Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford had a segment where they talked about the Philadelphia sports teams. Mark Briscoe made a surprise return and cleared them out of the ring.

Abadon won a 4-way match against Willow Nightingale, Skye Blue, and Anna Jay. Abadon will now challenge Hikaru Shida for the AEW women’s world title on Collision. Toni Storm and Luther observed the match from the ramp. That was quite a surprise to see her return to the company.

Santana defeated Ortiz in a match with many weapons. Santana offered a fist bump to Ortiz afterward, but it was declined. Sonjay Dutt came out afterward, attempting to recruit Ortiz into Jeff Jarrett’s stable, but Ortiz did not join at that time.

We will have to see how it all pans out when the show airs this week. AEW Rampage is on TNT at 10:00 PM, which has become an increasingly difficult time slot to capture an audience.
