Dominik Mysterio is still riding a wave as a big-time heel in WWE, garnering some of the most furious boos from crowds all over. It appears that he also has a bit of heat backstage with, at least, one talent.

WWE has released previously unseen footage of a backstage incident involving an NXT star during Monday’s Raw taping. It appears that Dominik Mysterio was quite busy backstage.

On the October 16th show, Judgment Day members Finn Balor and Damian Priest secured the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles by defeating Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. This victory means that every member of the faction currently holds a title. Rhea Ripley is the Women’s World Champion, and Dominik Mysterio is the NXT North American titleholder.

Although not shown during the live broadcast, Dirty Dom had a backstage confrontation with NXT’s Nathan Frazer. This could have set up a future NXT North American Title feud.

In a WWE exclusive clip, which can be viewed below, Mysterio disrupted Frazer’s backstage interview, instructing him to return to the gold brand. Nathan Frazer responded by challenging Dominik Mysterio, expressing his intent to win the North American Championship on the following Tuesday’s edition of NXT.

Dominik Mysterio told Nathan Frazer that he doesn’t deserve a title shot, leading to a physical altercation between the two. That was quite a message to send, and it appears that Frazer is up for the fight, thankfully he was around for the Main Event taping before RAW this week.

It’s worth noting that Dirty Dom is a two-time North American Champion, with his current reign beginning on October 3rd when he defeated Trick Williams, who had recently taken the title from Mysterio at No Mercy. Only time will tell how this situation pans out, but Nathan Frazer seems willing to battle Dom Dom.
