Sonny Kiss Wrestles First Match After AEW Release

Sonny Kiss joined AEW in February 2019 and was regularly featured on AEW television. Things eventually changed for him as AEW got more talent and Kiss was left on the sidelines. He is no longer part of the company as AEW opted not to renew his contract and now he wrestled his first match after this release.

Sonny Kiss was erased from the AEW roster page earlier last month and this made fans fear the worst. It was then confirmed by Tony Khan that Sonny Kiss was no longer part of the company.

As previously reported, Sonny Kiss squared off against ex-WWE Superstar WWE Superstar Ariane Andrew at Andrew’s promotion called Pound Tound Wrestling. The two had a solid bout that fans in attendance enjoyed.

Sonny Kiss also unveiled the moment he realized his AEW contract wouldn’t be extended. We’ll have to see how Sonny Kiss will flourish in his career, now that he is no longer part of AEW.
