Shinsuke Nakamura Nails CM Punk’s GTS Finisher During October 9th WWE RAW

WWE RAW was a loaded show this week, and every little thing mattered during the show. One move from Shinsuke Nakamura was 100% noticed by a ton of pro wrestling fans, because he broke out CM Punk’s GTS finisher during the show.

Ricochet and Shinsuke Nakamura are in a feud now. This comes in the fallout after Nakamura wasn’t able to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Seth Rollins at Fastlane.

Shinsuke Nakamura jumped Ricochet as he was making his way to the ring. Then he pulled off a very surprising move. Nakamura nailed the GTS, and that laid Ricochet out.

CM Punk and KENTA both use the GTS. That has never been Shinsuke Nakamura’s move, but he obviously knows how to pull it off. The timing of this GTS was certainly very interesting, especially with rumors of CM Punk’s interesting in making a return to the company.

A story started making the rounds last week that CM Punk wants to make return to WWE, and those close to the Second City Savior have said that there are currently talks between the two sides. The story gained a lot of traction, but there is no certainty at all that he will return.

Ringside News exclusively reported that CM Punk is trying to float the narrative that there are serious talks about his return to WWE. He wants to return to WWE, but this situation was explained to us as CM Punk “trying to get himself in the door.”
