WWE and AEW are both competing in the same market, and there is a lot of competition there, as we can see with NXT’s booking for next week. That being said, there is a narrative floating around that must be addressed.

It was previously reported that there is a feeling within WWE that their battles with AEW may result in something similar to their wars with WCW and TNA. That being said, things may not be that drastic.

Ringside News reached out to confirm the idea that WWE is concerned about AEW to the point where a narrative exists within the company that this could turn into another WWE vs WCW situation.

We were told that story is just an opinion, and it does not reflect any official viewpoint from WWE. That being said, it is a compelling analysis.

Ringside News was told by a tenured member of the creative team that, “we don’t really spend any time talking about it. Too much going on here, we have a lot shows to book.” WWE is simply aware of the world around them, and they are booking the shows to best serve fans and the marketplace.

Ringside News will have complete coverage. That includes any show, including WWE RAW, SmackDown, NXT and every premium live event. Also, don’t forget to hang out with us in our live results section during the events for our comprehensive play-by-play coverage.
