WWE is preparing to close out 2023, and they only have a couple premium live events left. Survivor Series will be a highlight in November, and creative plans are already in place.

Ringside News exclusively reported that WarGames is coming back this year. The plan is to hold the match at Survivor Series. The 2023 Survivor Series event is slated to go down at Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois, on November 25th.

Ringside News reached out to ask about the current plan for the big Survivor Series double-cage match. We are told that the company has come to a decision on who will be in that match. There is no debating it, because that plan is locked down.

Survivor Series was once primarily known for its multi-person elimination tag team matches, which used to dominate the card. However, these classic Survivor Series matches have lost their prominence on the event’s card. Instead, WarGames has emerged as a noteworthy replacement for these traditional matches at the annual event.

On the other hand, AEW features their own version of this match known as Blood & Guts. The last Blood & Guts event went down in Boston and lived up to expectations with its intense and bloody nature. While blood is not as common in WWE, they are set to hold another WarGames match this year, showcasing their adaptation of the double-ring cage match to the pro wrestling world.

Triple H was a huge fan of the WarGames concept, and he brought it to NXT first. Once Triple H moved to the WWE main roster, WarGames followed him, and now it is a staple of the Survivor Series event.

What’s your take on WarGames? Who would you book in the match this year? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
