John Cena Expresses Uncertainty About His Future In-Ring Career

John Cena is a brand of his own and his name continues to be high value no matter what. The Leader of Cenation might have adopted a part-timer role over the last six years, but he is now on the longest run during his current stint in WWE. He is not getting any younger and Cena has now made it clear he isn’t sure how long he can continue his in-ring career.

The Leader of Cenation competed in a tag team match with Seth Rollins as they squared off against Imperium during the WWE Superstar Spectacle event last month. Naturally, Cena and Rollins won the match as well.

While speaking on the Namastey India Special, John Cena talked about his experience competing at WWE Superstar Spectacle last month. Cena then discussed his physical well-being, noting that he isn’t sure how long he can continue his in-ring career as he is nearing the age of 50.

‘I’m leaning towards 50, and I don’t know how much longer I will be physically able to do it. I haven’t been here since 2006, this is the first time I’ve performed here and as my career hits the 21-year-old mark, I didn’t know if I was gonna have another chance. People talk about wanting to win championships, I just wanna spread the excitement that is WWE around the world and for me to call it a career without stopping in India would not have been right so I’m very very glad to be here. It means so much to me.”

John Cena and LA Knight are set to square off against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso in a tag team match at WWE Fastlane this week. Only time will tell whether Cena will end up retiring after his current run with WWE is over.
