Adam Copeland made his debut for AEW at WrestleDream, and that was a big surprise. It turns out that he actually got to Seattle a few days prior to that event, but he kept himself secluded for the most part.

During the press conference after AEW WrestleDream, Adam Copeland explained that he actually got into Seattle on Friday before the Sunday show. He said that Darby Allin took him to a very shady part of Seattle to film that video package that they aired before Copeland’s debut. Copeland said that there was no risk of getting spotted by anyone who knew him where Darby took him to film.

Adam Copeland said that he kept himself closed up in his room and he stayed hidden, mostly in his hotel. That being said, his cover was almost blown one time. Adam Copeland said that he wanted a cheeseburger, so he went to a restaurant to get one late at night, after he had been working on filming that video for around 14 hours without a meal.

After Adam Copeland ordered his food, he sat down with a book to read. This is when he noticed that a guy saw him and looked stunned to see him there. This is when Adam Copeland said he simply raised his index finger to his lips and said, “shhh.” The fan apparently nodded his head and understood that he should keep this encounter to himself.

AEW pulled off quite a surprise at WrestleDream. Fans will certainly never forget Adam Copeland’s big debut for Tony Khan’s company. Lucky for Adam Copeland, that fan who caught him eating was able to keep a secret.
