Seth Rollins Throws Shade at Roman Reigns Over Extended WWE Absence After SmackDown

Seth Rollins is the Visionary of WWE and has accomplished a lot in the business since his debut in the company more than a decade ago. After all, he is already a bonafide future WWE Hall Of Famer thanks to his incredible achievements in the company. There is certainly no love lost between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins and it appears Rollins mocked Reigns after Smackdown went off the air this week.

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have a lot of history together, as they debuted on the main roster as The Shield and eventually feuded with each other over the years. Rollins has usually beaten Reigns in big matches, with wins over him at WrestleMania 31 and Money in the Bank 2016 as well.

Reigns has been absent from WWE television since Jey Uso superkicked him on Friday Night Smackdown after SummerSlam. After Smackdown went off the air this week, Seth Rollins talked about everything the fans had seen on the show. Rollins mentioned how John Cena and LA Knight were part of the show.

He then talked about how the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion was part of the show before pausing in order to mock Roman Reigns for his absence. Rollins also had a tribute for Bray Wyatt after the show.

“You got LA Knight! Guys you got the greatest of all time, John Cena! You got the Universal Champio……”

It remains to be seen whether Rollins and Reigns will square off against each other in the future again. After all, fans would love to see the two engage in a long feud next time.
