Butch vs. Joe Coffey (with Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) in the Finals of the Global Heritage Invitational

They engage in a series of lockups, with Butch delivering a sharp slap during a break. They lock up again, this time reaching a stalemate. Butch seizes Joe’s wrist and applies a wrist lock, taking Joe down to the mat. He follows up with a stomp to Joe’s arm. Once more, they lock up, and Joe responds with his own wrist lock takedown. Joe then applies a double wrist lock and rakes Butch’s eyes while working on his arm. Butch manages to back Joe into the ropes and the corner, but Joe fights back with a forearm and knee strikes.

Joe transitions into a side headlock takedown, and then he charges through a clothesline to deliver a running shoulder tackle. Butch retaliates with a slap, executes a move called “Divorce Court,” and drops a knee on Joe’s arm before striking a Gallus pose. He goes for Joe’s fingers next and proceeds to stomp on his elbow. Butch delivers a kick to Joe’s head and performs a double stomp onto Joe’s arm from the turnbuckles. He takes Joe down to the mat and locks in a Fujiwara armbar.

At this point, Mark enters the ring, distracting the referee, and allowing Wolfgang to punch Butch. Butch manages to avoid a belly-to-back suplex, landing on his feet. Joe attempts a double jump crossbody, but Butch counters with a forearm, nearly securing a pinfall. Joe retreats to the outside, and Butch heads to the turnbuckles, attempting a moonsault onto Mark and Wolfgang, but Joe evades. Butch recovers and executes a snap German suplex, followed by stomping on Joe’s hands. He lands a round kick to Joe’s head, prompting Mark and Wolfgang to climb onto the apron, but the referee intervenes and sends them to the back.

Butch and Joe exchange punches, with Joe’s strikes staggering Butch as he retreats into the corner. Joe takes Butch down and delivers some well-placed kicks. He then ascends the turnbuckles and hits a missile dropkick for a near fall. Butch counters Joe’s Liontamer attempt with a kick to the head and transitions into a cross arm breaker, then into a triangle choke. Butch reverts to the cross arm breaker, but Joe exhibits incredible strength by lifting Butch into a one-arm buckle bomb.

Butch and Joe find themselves in a heated exchange, trading punches and forearms. Butch gains the upper hand as he mounts Joe and delivers a series of stomps to the chest. He lifts Joe to his feet, but Joe responds with headbutts and a kick that sends Butch to the apron. However, Butch retaliates by pulling at Joe’s fingers and landing multiple forearms. Butch focuses on Joe’s hand, but Joe counters with a headbutt.

Joe attempts a piledriver on the apron, but Butch blocks it and executes a DDT instead. Both wrestlers continue to exchange punches, and Joe surprises Butch with a pop-up uppercut. Joe then goes for a double jump crossbody and a German suplex, finally managing to lift Butch. He follows it up with a Glasgow Sendoff, and then sets up for “All the Best for the Bells,” but Butch counters with enzuigiris. Joe rebounds with a discus clothesline, leaving both men down.

Butch locks in a Fujiwara armbar and tries to manipulate Joe’s fingers. Joe manages to break free and hits a powerbomb. Joe follows up with another Glasgow Sendoff, and then attempts “All the Best for the Bells” again, but Butch evades, causing Joe to collide with the ring steps. Butch seizes the opportunity and delivers the “Bitter End” for the three-count.

Winner: Butch

Next, we have Dominik Mysterio speaking with McKenzie Mitchell. Dom reflects on another successful title defense and mentions that he has a free Saturday to spend with Mami. However, McKenzie brings up the Triple Threat Match that will determine his opponent for Saturday, showing Dom a tweet about the match. Dom expresses frustration with the lack of respect he feels from Adam Pearce and Shawn, the WWE officials.

Trick Williams versus Joe Gacy (with Ava)

The match begins with Trick and Joe locking up. Trick gains an early advantage with a shoulder tackle and then applies a side headlock. He skillfully floats over in the corner and slams Joe before delivering a dropkick. Joe counters an Irish whip, but Trick blocks a kick and avoids a clothesline. Trick responds with punches and an uppercut. Joe regains control with a kick and a DDT, followed by kicks and forearms to the back of Trick’s head. Joe then applies a rear naked choke.

However, Joe misses an elbow drop, running into a boot in the corner. Trick seizes the opportunity and delivers a series of punches, followed by an uppercut and a jumping leg lariat. Joe mounts a comeback with a clothesline in the corner and a back elbow. But Trick manages to counter Joe’s handspring clothesline attempt with a forearm and secures the three-count for the victory.

Winner: Trick Williams

Kelly Kincaid enters the ring to congratulate Trick on his win. She asks Trick if he believes Carmelo will win on Saturday. Trick expresses his satisfaction with his performance and mentions that it might have been his best match yet. He acknowledges that Ilja Dragunov is a tough competitor who hits hard but believes it would be foolish to bet against Carmelo Hayes. Trick confidently predicts that Carmelo will retain his championship and hints that it’s time for him to pursue his own championship aspirations.

Next, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Blair Davenport.

Blair reflects on Gigi Dolin’s attempt to take her out and describes it as feeble and pathetic. She asserts that when she targets someone, they don’t stay on their feet, and even when Gigi attacked her, Blair got up, requiring officials to intervene. Blair challenges Gigi, stating that no one can match her vicious side and advises Gigi to watch her closely in their upcoming match.

Baron Corbin vs. Brooks Jensen

The match kicks off with Baron and Josh locking up, but Baron breaks the hold with a punch. Josh retaliates with a flurry of punches and follows it up with a clothesline that sends Baron tumbling over the top rope and crashing to the floor. Josh wastes no time and sends Baron into the apron and the ringside barrier. He then returns Baron to the ring and delivers a forearm strike, followed by a running boot to the head.

Baron manages to kick Josh away and targets Josh’s leg with a series of kicks. Baron then executes a powerful choke slam for a near fall. He continues to pummel Josh with punches, Irish whipping him into the ropes and following up with a splash. However, Baron misses a corner splash, allowing Josh to counter with a choke slam and a splash for a near fall of his own.

The two wrestlers exchange punches, and Josh lands a boot to Baron’s head. Baron resorts to pulling the referee between himself and Josh, taking advantage to land a punch and execute a clothesline off the turnbuckles. Baron then connects with his finishing move, the End of Days, securing the three-count for the win.

Winner: Baron Corbin

After the match, Baron takes the microphone and addresses Bron Brakker. He mentions that they will find out on Saturday whether Bron is all talk or if he can back it up. Baron confidently asserts that he’s looking into the future, and what Bron sees is his own demise, courtesy of the End of Days.

Bron Brakker makes his way to the ring and starts punching Baron. Bron executes a double-leg takedown, and then security personnel enter the ring, dressed similarly to Bron, causing confusion for Baron, who punches the security members because he can’t differentiate between them and Bron. The situation leads to commercial break.

We return to the show, and Trick Williams is seen knocking on Shawn Michaels’ door before entering.

Next, a video package showcases the upcoming match between Becky Lynch and Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany mentions that Becky has been in WWE for a decade, but she went move for move with her and is tired of Becky already. Becky, on the other hand, vows to remain the champion.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger vs. Bronco Nima and Lucien Price, accompanied by SCRYPTS

Tank and Price start the match, with Hank later tagging in and delivering punches to Price. The duo of Hank and Tank performs a double headbutt. Price manages to kick Hank, who responds with more punches. Hank Irish whips Price and follows up with a corner splash. Tank tags in, and together, Hank and Tank execute a clothesline and a slingshot splash, nearly securing a pinfall. Price fights back with kicks and tags in Nima, who punches Tank and chokes him in the ropes. Price tags back in and delivers a knee drop. Price sends Tank to the mat, and Nima misses a stomp. Tank rolls up Price for a near fall.

Hank tags back in and continues the assault with punches to Nima and Price. Hank executes a splash in the corner, snake eyes, and a bicycle kick. Tank tags back in, attempting to get Nima up, but SCRYPTS intervenes by grabbing Hank. Price and Nima take advantage of the distraction and execute an assisted spinebuster on Tank for the three-count.

Winners: Bronco Nima and Lucien Price

In the backstage area, Gigi Dolin is preparing for her match when suddenly the lights go out, and the sound of a brawl can be heard. When the lights come back on, Blair Davenport stands over Gigi.

As we head to commercial, Dijak and Eddy Thorpe are seen in the backstage area.

We return to the scene at the restaurant, where Channing asks Angel about the marks on his chest, which appear to be the result of some kind of injury.

Humberto explains that the tattoo on his chest is a tribute to their grandfather’s message, and they are determined to win the tag team titles to honor him.

Julius and Brutus Creed enter the restaurant, and Tony informs them that everything is alright. Julius mentions that they came to eat and discuss business, particularly regarding the upcoming event “No Mercy.”

Channing mentions that nothing has been finalized for “No Mercy,” and Brutus recalls a previous incident of food poisoning in a different restaurant up the street.

In the locker room, Tyler Bate and Axiom have a conversation. Axiom expresses his respect for Tyler and Lee but emphasizes that opportunities like the one they have don’t come along every day.

Trick Williams interrupts their conversation, revealing that he has been added to the Triple Threat Match, which has now become a Fatal Four-Way Match.

Eddy Thorpe vs. Dijak in a Strap Match

As the match begins, Dijak heads to the floor, and when Eddy follows, he pulls Eddy into the corner and then into the ring post. Eddy retaliates with a suicide dive. Dijak drags Eddy back into the ring, and they engage in a struggle with the strap. Eddy lands punches, and Dijak counters with a boot. Eddy pulls Dijak off the turnbuckles and connects with a kick. Eddy attempts a waist lock, but Dijak responds with back elbows. Dijak misses a strap swing, and Eddy capitalizes with a dropkick. Eddy misses a corner kick, allowing Dijak to strap him.

Dijak uses the strap to send Eddy out of the ring. During the commercial break, Dijak delivers some brutal shots, including Hard Justice, to Eddy. Back from the break, Dijak has the strap over Eddy’s mouth. Eddy manages to land an elbow to the midsection and punches Dijak. Dijak responds with a chop, and Eddy retaliates with a chop of his own. Dijak follows up with a thrust kick, and Eddy counters with a back heel kick.

Dijak grabs Eddy by the throat, but Eddy delivers a clothesline, sending both of them over the top rope, and they land on their feet. Dijak responds with a choke slam on the apron and sends Eddy into the ringside barrier in front of his family. Dijak ties up Eddy’s hands in the strap and whips him repeatedly, taunting Eddy’s family in the process. Dijak sends Eddy back into the ring, removes his belt, and wraps it around his hand.

Eddy manages to duck a belt-assisted attack and kicks Dijak in the head. He follows it up with a Yakuza kick and then whips Dijak with the belt. Eddy continues to strike Dijak’s back with the strap and eventually takes Dijak’s belt, using it to punch him. Eddy pulls Dijak into the corner, climbs the turnbuckles, and hits an elbow drop for the three-count.

Winner: Eddy Thorpe

After the match, while Eddy celebrates, Dijak strikes with Feast Your Eyes. He then backs Eddy into the turnbuckles and delivers a superkick, causing Eddy to hang by his feet. Dijak proceeds to tie Eddy to the ropes. Dijak grabs the belt and addresses Eddy’s family, taunting them before whipping Eddy with the belt. He swings at the referee in front of Eddy’s family as well.

Outside the locker room, Jacy asks Thea Hail about her new gear.

Thea Hail (with Jacy Jayne) vs. Dani Palmer

In the matchup, Thea Hail and Dani Palmer start by locking up. Thea quickly takes Dani down with a double leg takedown but Dani escapes when Thea attempts a Boston Crab. Dani retaliates with a side headlock takedown. Thea responds with a top wrist lock and another takedown. Thea adds a splash on Dani’s arm, followed by a wrist lock. Dani counters with her own wrist lock takedown and transitions into a head scissors, but Thea reciprocates with a head scissors of her own. Thea then attempts a kimura submission hold.

Thea continues her offense with kicks in the corner and a gutwrench suplex for a near fall. Dani manages to strike back with a forearm and a clothesline, followed by a dropkick. She then executes a handspring kick into the corner. Dani climbs the turnbuckles, attempting a twisting moonsault, but she misses and lands on her feet. Thea capitalizes by locking in the kimura once again, and Dani is forced to tap out.

Winner: Thea Hail

We observe Andre and Duke on the HBalKony. Trick enters Carmelo’s locker room and discusses his victory over Gacy, expressing his intention to showcase it in the four-way match. Trick asserts that if he wins tonight, he’ll earn a title shot against Dom.

Hayes appears distracted by his phone and the contract signing. He apologizes for being preoccupied and neglecting Trick.Trick acknowledges Hayes’ situation and mentions he has some matters to attend to.

After a commercial break, Baron is seen leaving the building and is questioned about Bron Breakker.

Baron confidently predicts that Bron will face a beating on Saturday. However, Bron unexpectedly attacks Baron, leading to a security intervention.

Trick Williams vs. Dragon Lee vs. Axiom vs. Tyler Bate in a contest to determine the Number One Contender for the North American Title

Axiom and Bate simultaneously deliver superkicks to Trick, sending him out of the ring. Bate proceeds to force Axiom out as well and performs a pescado dive onto Trick. Meanwhile, Lee misses a kick aimed at Axiom. Axiom responds with a head scissors, and Lee lands on his feet. Axiom follows this up with a cartwheel to escape a potential head scissors. He then executes an arm drag off the turnbuckles, followed by a dropkick. Axiom concludes this sequence with a moonsault onto Trick. Lee contributes with a flip dive onto all three competitors. Lee sends Trick back into the ring and attempts a power bomb, but Trick counters with a Boston Crab. Tyler Bate, on the other hand, applies a Fujiwara armbar to Dragon Lee. Axiom joins the fray with a sleeper hold on Trick, and Lee delivers punches to Bate. Bate retaliates with a dropkick to Lee. Trick then strikes Bate with a forearm and punches Axiom before delivering an uppercut. Trick proceeds to clothesline Lee when Axiom moves, and he kicks Axiom before executing a double flapjack on Bate and Axiom.

Bate counters with punches and chops against Trick, who returns fire with punches. Bate responds with a knee lift and a corkscrew back elbow off the turnbuckles. However, Trick sends Bate to the floor when Bate charges into the corner, causing Bate to hit the apron as he goes overboard. Trick follows up with chops in the corner, targeting Axiom. Trick continues his assault with more chops on Axiom. Bate reenters from the apron with a shoulder and a sunset flip for a near fall. Trick attempts to suplex Bate, but Axiom intervenes to block it. Trick and Lee both try to suplex Axiom and Bate, but the latter two thwart the attempt and counter with a double suplex, leaving everyone down on the mat. Bate engages in a striking exchange with Axiom, with both trading punches and chops. They persist in their heated confrontation, with Bate delivering a knee lift and a corkscrew back elbow off the turnbuckles.

Trick and Bate continue to trade punches and strikes. Bate attempts Tyler Driver 97 on Axiom, but Axiom counters with a rana for a near fall. Axiom executes a half-and-half suplex on Bate and follows it up with a head scissors and wristlock takedown on Trick and Lee. Bate counters with a kick to Axiom, who sends Bate into Trick. Axiom then clotheslines Trick, and Trick DDTs Bate.

Lee whips Bate into the corner, hitting him with a hesitation dropkick. Bate tries to rebound with a clothesline, but Lee blocks it and delivers a sit-out powerbomb, nearly securing a pinfall until Trick and Axiom break it up. Axiom, coming off the turnbuckles, receives an uppercut from Trick. Trick proceeds to kick Bate and goes for a uranage, but Lee intervenes, leading to Trick performing a double uranage on Lee and Bate, nearly securing a pinfall. Trick attempts a suplex on Bate, who counters with a DDT. Bate proceeds to execute an airplane spin on Lee, performing a leg sweep on Axiom and giving Axiom a giant swing while simultaneously giving Lee an airplane spin. Bate drops Lee onto Axiom and follows up with a German suplex. Bate then attempts a rebound clothesline on Trick, but Axiom delivers a Canadian Destroyer after breaking up the cover. Bate blocks a kick from Axiom and retaliates with a punch. Trick follows up with a pop-up uppercut to Bate. Axiom adds a superkick to Trick. Lee, in turn, swings Axiom’s leg into Trick and delivers two superkicks to Axiom.

Lee ascends to the top turnbuckle, but Bate interrupts his plans. As Bate and Axiom join Lee on the top rope, Bate gets knocked off. Axiom then performs a Spanish Fly on Lee, nearly securing a pinfall. Lee retaliates with Destino, but Trick breaks it up. Trick delivers a headbutt to Lee and inadvertently bumps into Bate, causing him to fall onto Axiom for the three count.

Winner: Trick Williams

We return to the restaurant, where Bronco and Lucien arrive accompanied by SCRYPTS. Tony playfully suggests getting a booster seat for SCRYPTS. SCRYPTS humorously remarks that they’ve brought cheese for the rats. Humberto inquires about which team will face Tony and Channing at No Mercy. Julius questions when the last time Humberto and Angel won a match was. SCRYPTS believes it’s time for some fresh talent in the division. Julius suggests that everyone wants to see them go up against Tony and Channing. Nima states they won’t beg for anything. Tony playfully signals, and a group of elderly Italian people suddenly appear.

Channing emphasizes that everyone presented their cases well, and he doesn’t want anyone to accuse them of favoritism. Tony adds that they’d like to see all of them in the Four-Way Match at No Mercy. They raise their glasses in a toast to the Four-Way Match.

In the backstage area, Dom is interviewed by McKenzie, and she asks him about facing Trick Williams. Dom expresses his lack of impression by the curveball and confidently asserts that he’ll defeat Trick just as he did Dragon Lee. He emphasizes that he runs NXT, not Shawn Michaels, and he’ll take care of Trick the same way he did with Lee. Suddenly, Lee attacks Dom, and security intervenes to escort Lee away.

Carmelo Hayes appears backstage and congratulates Trick on his victory. Trick responds by asserting that both of them will leave as champions.

The show then goes to a commercial break.

As we return, a video package highlights Brian Pillman Jr. Vic Joseph proceeds to run down the card for Saturday’s event. Ilja Dragunov makes his way to the ring, followed by Carmelo Hayes. Carmelo wastes no time and suggests they sign the contract immediately. Ilja responds by saying that Carmelo is the wrong person at the wrong time and declares him the wrong man for the NXT Championship. Hayes counters, mentioning their past encounter at the Great American Bash and how he didn’t walk in expecting to lose. He expresses his determination to win at No Mercy. Ilja implies that Hayes struggles outside of his comfort zone and warns him that he’ll experience unbearable pain when facing a dragon spitting fire. Hayes responds, acknowledging a brief lapse in confidence but emphasizing that being undeniable is what truly matters. He believes he’s unlike anyone Ilja has faced before and mentions Trick Williams. He asserts they will address all the “what ifs.”

Ilja takes the contract, signs it, and places it in front of Hayes. He declares that Hayes won’t do anything and expresses frustration at the prospect of letting destiny slip away. Ilja warns that Hayes will never forget what he witnesses on Saturday, as his dynasty will crumble. He ends with “Long Live the Tsar.”

Hayes signs the contract and, after the signing, tells Ilja that the championship is bigger than both of them. He questions if Ilja can bear the responsibilities and suggests he can do it better.

Vic Joseph announces Dragon Lee as the guest referee for the North American Title match.

The scene transitions to the parking lot, where Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin are engaged in a brawl. Bron delivers a knee and slams Baron into a vehicle. Punches are exchanged, and Bron is eventually pulled back. Baron uses a vehicle as a shield and Bron attempts to charge at him but is restrained. Baron manages to avoid Bron’s attack, causing him to collide with the vehicle’s door. Baron retaliates by sending Bron into the hood and delivering punches. However, Bron regains momentum, applying a rear naked choke on Baron.

The fight continues as they enter the building, trading punches. They eventually brawl through a wall and into Shawn Michaels’ office.

The show concludes with the credits rolling.
