Drew McIntyre is one of the most established WWE Superstars of the past decade, as he won the WWE Championship twice. He is back on WWE television as a regular and has been focused on a singles run for a long time now. That said, it appears McIntyre is in no hurry to go after the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Drew McIntyre came back at Money In the Bank and competed in a match with Gunther at SummerSlam, where he lost despite his best efforts. He is now engaged in a storyline with Xavier Woods while also briefly teaming up with Matt Riddle.

While speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling, The Scottish Warrior stated that he is in no hurry to go after Seth Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship as he wants to beat other stars first.

“And the World Title. I don’t wanna challenge for it right away. I think I need to work through some superstars. Even though I have my name and reputation, you’re only as good as you’ve been recently. I have been doing a lot of tag stuff recently because Riddle keeps nipping in my knees and wants to tag all the time. But I wanna make sure I get on a good run and then earn the right to fight for the World Title with Seth.”

Drew McIntyre would also consider a career opportunity in Bollywood. We’ll have to wait and see whether The Scottish Warrior will eventually make his way back to the main event scene.
