John Cena Drops Tribute To Dolph Ziggler After His WWE Release

WWE released a lot of talent from the main roster today. You may click here for complete list of everyone WWE fired from the main roster, but more cuts are expected from NXT as well. A few of them hit hard with fans and the WWE roster, but losing Dolph Ziggler was certainly unexpected.

Dolph Ziggler’s name was one of those released Superstars, and many were shocked to see the veteran fired by the company. He worked with a ton of great names and was a part of history many times throughout his long tenure with the company since 2005.

John Cena was one of the people who can attest to how good Dolph Ziggler is in the ring. The 16x World Champion obviously heard that the Show Off was released today, because he dropped a little tribute on X.

Dolph Ziggler and John Cena had many battles in the ring, and it appears that left a lasting impression on Cena. We will have to see what Dolph Ziggler does next, but he certainly proved himself as one of the best in the ring whenever WWE gave him an opportunity.

John Cena is back for another run with WWE right now. Sadly, he won’t get to see his old friend and rival Dolph Ziggler backstage.
