WWE and UFC are now under one roof as TKO Holdings Group. The company is very happy with how things have turned out so far, and World Wrestling Entertainment expects big money in their future.

WWE might make significant alterations to its Premium Live Event business in 2024 due to the establishment of TKO Holdings Group. After all, they have a ton of power at this point, and they know how much their programming and events are worth.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer disclosed potential strategies WWE is considering for promoting their Premium Live Event business. He said that WWE is looking to have their premium live events bring them money from each host city in time. Right now, they are only doing that for about half of their events.

“We’ll be seeing a lot more of WWE trying to get cities to bid for at least the big shows – I mean the goal is for all 12 pay-per-view shows – but right now, I think the goal is four or five for next year, and maybe more as time goes on, as UFC is doing as well.”

TKO Group Holdings came into existence on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023, officially bringing WWE and UFC together within the same organization. A lot of things are changing, and we will just have to see how everything pans out.

Puerto Rico provided WWE with a payment of $1.5 million for hosting Backlash in the country. Reports indicated that the Welsh government allocated nearly $3 million for Clash at the Castle last year.

WWE recently announced that the 2024 Royal Rumble is scheduled for Saturday, January 27th, to be held at Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay, Florida. At this time, we are not aware how much Tampa paid for that show.
