Sonya Deville Provides Positive Update After ACL Surgery

Sonya Deville was on a roll as 1/2 of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Then she went down with an unfortunate knee injury. She got that surgery done, and she’s already making progress.

Fans saw an update from Sonya Deville recently as she revealed her house flipping journey. While she’s taking phone calls with contractors, Sonya Deville is gearing up for her return to the ring.

The former Fire & Desire member was asked on Instagram if she could provide any update on her ACL situation. Sonya Deville was happy to share a photo of herself on a stationary bike, with a knee brace on. Her caption also gave fans a bit of hope about her recovery.

“A lot better everyday. I can walk around now no crutches just with the brace unlocked.”

Sonya Deville also included a few more stories with video of her rehabbing that injury. She’s getting motion out of her knee, and that’s a very important part of the healing process.

Sonya Deville is also planning her wedding with Toni Cassano. In a rather humorous antidote, Deville revealed that their wedding planner asked if they’re twins.

We’re sending out our best to Sonya Deville, and we hope she makes it back very soon. That ACL injury was a terrible thing to happen, especially because it went down just as she clinched a well-deserved championship in WWE. Only time will tell if she goes for singles gold the next time around.
