GUNTHER & Chad Gable’s WWE Story Is Not Over Yet

WWE has a great thing going with GUNTHER, as he just broke Honky Tonk Man’s record for longest Intercontinental Title reign. Chad Gable tried hard to beat GUNTHER, but he couldn’t get the job done. That might not be the end of the story.

BWE was asked on X is there is any plan to follow up GUNTHER’s angle with Chad Gable. After all, that match left Gable’s daughter in tears.

The bona fide WWE insider replied affirmatively to confirm that there are plans to follow up on GUNTHER and Chad Gable’s story. It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see the company keep that going in some respect.

Chad Gable saw a great reception from the WWE Universe after his match with GUNTHER. Some wanted to see the former American Alpha member actually pull own the IC Title to end GUNTHER’s reign before he could break Honky Tonk Man’s record.

Only time will tell if Chad Gable will ever get the job done by taking GUNTHER’s title, but he certainly had a ton of drive in him on RAW. For more on this story, and so many more, stay tuned with us here at Ringside News.
