Brock Lesnar makes ton of money with WWE, and his deals have historically been kept short, so he can renegotiate larger deals. That being said, a new rumor is going around about the Beast Incarnate that needs to be corrected.

A report is going around about Brock Lesnar’s contract status. It was stated that Brock Lesnar and WWE are under “a verbal deal.”

Ringside News reached out to inquire about this new report about Brock Lesnar’s contract status. We were told that this is not the truth at all.

A tenured source within the company confirmed with us that, “Brock Lesnar has no verbal agreements. His contract with WWE is in writing.” That should hopefully clear things up.

The last time fans saw Brock Lesnar wrestle, he lost to Cody Rhodes. After that match, Lesnar raised Rhodes’ hand and gestured that fans should give their attention to the American Nightmare. That was a real moment where Lesnar put Cody over, but it wasn’t the end of his time in WWE.

Brock Lesnar is currently enjoying another little break from WWE. It is unclear if he will wrestle again this year at this point, but we will be here when his music breaks once again, right here at Ringside News.

What’s your take on Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract status? Should he be used more? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think!

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
