Doudrop was known as Piper Niven on NXT UK before making her WWE main roster debut. Despite fan speculation, she was rebranded with a new name upon her main roster debut. She eventually got her name back but wasn’t featured much on WWE television. That changed after she returned on RAW last month but she ended up missing this week’s show. It appears Niven missed RAW due to a short-term illness.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Chelsea Green was speaking with Adam Pearce and then revealed Piper Niven is not medically cleared to compete.

According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Piper Niven is dealing with a short-term illness and is expected to be fully recovery in a week or two. It was added that WWE has no plans to strip her and Chelsea Green of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Word backstage is Piper Niven was dealing with a short term illness and would hopefully be back in a week or two if all goes well.

And no plans to vacate the Tag-Titles or move them off of Niven.

We will have to wait and see how WWE will book Chelsea Green and Piper Niven as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions once Niven returns to rAW, as fans want them to have a good run.
