Raquel Rodriguez Says Ronda Rousey Cared About The WWE Women’s Division

Ronda Rousey made her return during the 2022 Royal Rumble event after a nearly three-year absence from the company. While Rousey won the Smackdown Women’s Championship twice since her return, she failed to get any desired reactions from the fans. While many felt she didn’t care about the women’s division, Raquel Rodrigeuz feels otherwise.

Ronda Rousey lost to Shayna Baszler at the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live and has been away from WWE ever since. Prior to this, Rousey had been accused of not caring about the WWE women’s division in general.

While speaking to Eat, Sleep, Podcast, Repeat, Raquel Rodriguez was asked about her experiences with Rousey. Rodriguez had nothing but good things to say about Ronda Rousey and added that she feels Rousey cared about the WWE women’s division.

Ronda carries herself like a superstar. Ronda is great. I’ve had no bad experiences with Ronda. I think she’s also been very willing to put herself into a business that she doesn’t have much knowledge in, but she’s also been willing to help the rest of us along the way too, and elevate a lot of the women in the division. She wants a lot for the women in the division, I’ll say that. She does care about the women’s division for WWE.’

Ronda Rousey’s first project after her WWE hiatus was also revealed. Regardless, only time will tell whether Rousey will ever return to WWE, as it might still be a while for that to happen.
