Indie Wrestling Company Claps Back Against Rumor They Don’t Pay People

The pro wrestling scene has a lot of rumors out there. It seems that one was put in the rumor mill about 1PW, but the indie wrestling company had to clear things up.

The official 1PW X account posted to clear up any stories that they aren’t paying talent. It was said that this is 100% not true, for everyone except for one person.

It was stated that an unnamed person is on a payment plan, and apparently, they are current in those payments. It was also stated that the company lost a co-owner as well, but they are still doing their thing.

It has been rumoured on this app that people are owed money by 1PW. To clarify:

One wrestler is on a payment plan and every other wrestler, crew member and staff member has been paid for their work with us. Any other inference is entirely untrue and a complete lie.

1PW’s relaunch was with two promoters and now is with one. Any wrestlers wishing to work for our former co promoter and not us we wish well and hope they flourish in those surroundings.

The pro wrestling world is full of stories. Hopefully, this statement from 1PW will clear this whole situation up.

We’ll have to see what happens next in the indie wrestling circuit. There might be people out there who aren’t paying talent, but 1PW apparently pays their bills.
